BESS Scenarios
This section discusses some of the possible scenarios that can be simulated in iPool.
What-If Scenarios
To evaluate the impact of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) on the grid under different conditions, several simulation scenarios are defined. Below is the list of scenario IDs and their corresponding descriptions used in the system:

| WIF_NOBESS | Based on the Base Case scenario, featuring a 15% increase in system demand and a 500% increase in solar generation, with no BESS operation. |
| WIF_BESSBID | Builds upon the WIF_NOBESS scenario by introducing BESS market bids.• BESS in LUZON: 2 x 500 MW |
| WIF_BESSOPT | Builds upon the WIF_BESSBID scenario. BESS operation is optimized through net system demand levelization rather than bids.• BESS in LUZON: 2 x 500 MW |
