Overview​

Use the Vantage Forecast tab to download forecast files from the iEnergy Gateway for use in iPool scenarios. For an orientation to the tab, see Introduction; for the full control reference, see Interface and Navigation; for the step-by-step procedures, see How To.

What It Is​

The Vantage Forecast tab downloads three asset groups from the iEnergy Gateway: Demand Forecasts (regional and zonal, day-ahead and week-ahead), VRE Forecasts (MHCF), and the iPool Database (MDB). A fourth card, Bid Sets (ZIP), is present in the interface but is not covered in this guide. The tab requires a valid Vantage Forecast license module and network access to the iEnergy Gateway.

When to Use It​

Use the Vantage Forecast tab when preparing a short-term forecast — one day ahead or one week ahead — and need the latest published forecast files for your iPool scenarios. For the complete download procedures, see How To.
