Overview
The Support panel provides access to an AI chat assistant and the Apollo documentation site. It is opened from the top bar by clicking the question-mark icon (Support button). The panel is visible only when a valid license is active (or in web mode).
Opening Support
Click the question-mark icon (Support) in the top-bar actions cluster. The panel opens at 400×560 px, anchored near the top-right corner of the application window.
The panel has two tabs: Ask AI and Help Site.
Ask AI Tab
Ask AI is available in the Electron (desktop) version only. In web mode, the tab shows a message that AI support chat is not available in the web viewer.
A free-text input field lets you type questions and receive AI-generated responses. Press Enter to send a message; press Shift+Enter to add a new line within a message. Responses are rendered with markdown formatting (bold, italic, code blocks, lists, headers, links).
A New chat button resets the conversation. The conversation persists across panel open and close within the same application session.
When the conversation reaches 40 messages, a warning prompts you to start a new chat. Failed messages (network errors, timeouts, rate-limit responses) can be retried.
Help Site Tab
Click Open Help Site to open the Apollo documentation in a separate window.
| Mode | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Desktop (Electron) | Opens an in-app browser window showing the Apollo documentation site. The window requires a valid session — if your session has expired, you will see an authentication prompt. |
| Web mode | Opens the documentation in a new browser tab. |
